Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026.

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related services offered through streamvyx. These include professional training programmes focused on media feed operations, live signal management, content distribution, camera work and the creation of high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. The policy covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access to training materials or live sessions. It governs transactions made by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are processed, when contracts are formed and the circumstances under which refunds may be granted.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Any Additional Charges

All prices displayed on the website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Any additional charges such as administrative fees for payment processing or optional add-on modules will be clearly indicated before checkout. streamvyx reserves the right to adjust prices at any time; however, the price applicable to an order is the one displayed at the time the order is placed. Customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees imposed by their bank or card issuer when paying in a currency other than GBP.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers for course purchases. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. All card transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. streamvyx does not store full card details. Customers may be required to provide additional verification for high-value orders. In the event of a failed authorisation, the order will not be processed and the customer will be notified immediately.

Order, Booking or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email following successful payment. This email contains details of the purchased course, access instructions and a summary of the applicable terms. Until this confirmation is received, no contract exists and streamvyx is not obliged to provide access to the course materials.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK customers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of order confirmation during which they may cancel without providing a reason. This right does not apply once digital content has been downloaded or accessed, or once a live training session has begun. Customers who wish to cancel must notify us in writing within the 14-day period.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for cancellations made within the 14-day period provided no course materials have been accessed. Once access has been granted or a live session attended, refunds are not available except in cases of proven technical failure on our part. Promotional or discounted courses may have different refund conditions stated at the time of purchase. Non-refundable items include downloaded resources, completed assessments and any third-party software licences provided as part of the course.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, customers must email [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request” and include their full name, order number, date of purchase and a brief explanation. Requests must be submitted from the email address associated with the original order. We aim to acknowledge receipt of the request within two working days.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of the Refund Decision

Each refund request is reviewed by our customer service team. We will assess whether the request falls within the eligible period and whether any materials have been accessed. Customers will be notified of the decision by email within ten working days. If approved, the refund will be processed; if rejected, clear reasons will be provided along with any options for appeal.

Refund Method, Processing Time and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method. Credit and debit card refunds typically appear on the customer’s statement within five to ten working days. PayPal refunds are usually processed within three working days. Bank transfer refunds may take up to fourteen working days depending on the customer’s bank. streamvyx is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services or Promotional Offers

Digital course content is considered delivered once login credentials are issued or download links are provided. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms and may not be eligible for refund if the offer explicitly states that sales are final. Live training sessions are non-refundable once the session has commenced.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud

In the event of a failed payment, the customer will be notified and given the opportunity to complete the transaction with an alternative method. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Chargebacks are treated seriously; customers who initiate a chargeback without first contacting us may have their account suspended. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and may result in immediate cancellation of the order.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom That the Policy Cannot Exclude

Nothing in this policy affects the customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. These rights include the right to receive services with reasonable care and skill and the right to a refund or remedy where services are not as described. Any term that attempts to exclude these rights is void.
